For our recent client, a Slovak fuel, toll payment and vehicle tracking services provider, also producing PC and mobile applications for related services, we translated software strings they later incorporated into a mobile application.
Translation of software strings is a specialised area of translation and always requires an experienced project manager who can ensure that the resulting translation is bug-free and ready to be released. ASAP-translation ceded this task to our experienced project manager, who assigned this translation task to our proven suppliers – native in-country language service providers.
We needed to translate this 57-word text, into 36 languages. Totally, 22 translators participated in this project resulting in meeting the deadline and the strings being incorporated into a mobile application.
